QCI Vacation Homes offers a selection of RVs for those looking to get closer to nature. The available units and their features include:

• 5th Wheel Trailers
  • Three available trailers, typically located at Hidden Island Resort near Masset, a full-service campground.
  • Can be relocated upon request (additional charges apply for locations south of the north end of Graham Island).
  • Nearby Agate Beach campground, 30 minutes from Masset, offers a popular wilderness experience.
  • Trailers come equipped with:
    • 66 gallons of freshwater storage
    • Six heavy-duty golf cart batteries
    • 60 pounds of propane
    • A small, portable 2200-watt generator for AC current and battery recharging
    • Large front door awnings, ideal for rainy days
• Truck/Camper Combinations
  • Two available combinations, both equipped with portable generators.
  • Includes a larger motorhome with a built-in generator for those who prefer more comfort.

Montana

$400/night for 2 people and $30/night for each additional person.

The Montana 375 is 38 feet long and boasts five slide-outs, a king-size bed in the bedroom at the back of the trailer with a large picture window, two sofas in the living room that each converts to queen-size beds to sleep six in total, three high-definition TVs (one mounted outside under the awning) with Blue-Ray, stereo, microwave and large shower stall.

Montana 375 Floor Plan

The Montana 3402 is also 38 feet long and has four slide-outs, a queen-size bed in the bedroom at the front of the trailer, a large picture window in the living room at the back of the trailer with two armchair recliners and a sofa that converts to a queen-size bed to sleep four in total, two high-definition TVs with Blue-Ray and stereo, microwave, large shower and built-in vacuum cleaner. It has two solar panels to help maintain the 12 Volt electrical power.

2013 Used Prowler

$250/night for 2 people and $25 for each additional person

This is a slightly used but meticulously maintained 30-foot trailer that is smaller but more economical than the Montana. It sleeps up to two couples with the bedroom offering a queen and the sofa pulls out in the living room to a double. The kitchen is nicely laid out with a center island and sink, and there is a good-sized fridge and freezer. The floor plan is not completely accurate as there is a third slider in the bedroom and the couch and easy chairs are switched around.

2007 Sunseeker Motorhome

$300/night for 2 and $25 for each additional person

Relatively new to the QCI Vacation Homes’ line of accommodations is a 32-foot 2007 Sunseeker Motorhome that is in exceptional shape for its age. It has a slide-out for the kitchen/dining and living area with a couch and sitting chair. There is a queen bed in the bedroom with a second queen bed forward over the cab. The dining settee turns into a third bed that is a double and the couch opens up for a large single providing accommodation for a family or group of up to seven people. There is a good-sized shower and a separate toilet inside and an outdoor shower as well. It comes with a built-in generator if in a no-service campground, plenty of battery power and all the amenities that one will need to have a truly enjoyable vacation around the islands. There is a TV and DVD player to be able to watch movies if one must, but there will probably be too much to do outdoors! It includes outdoor chairs, a mat and a propane BBQ. With the exception of visiting Tow Hill and Agate Beach Campground, this vehicle must be kept on paved roads.

2014 Northernlite Camper

Also relatively new to us is a 2014 Northernlite Camper Model 811 on a 2013 one-ton, Chevy Silverado. Both truck and camper are like new. The camper has a queen bed over the cab and the dining room settee turns into a double. It comes with a very quiet Honda or Yamaha Generator to be able to recharge the batteries if 110 AC power is not readily available. It includes a combination shower and toilet as well as an outdoor shower. All the amenities are provided including outdoor chairs and a propane BBQ. It has a side awning to keep things dry in the event of rain. This unit is ideal for two people. This unit can be driven on well-maintained gravel roads but cannot be driven on logging roads.

2019 Travelaire Slide-out Camper

Truck/campers seem to be very popular so we have added another unit. The almost new Travelaire Camper has a slide-out that makes it slightly larger and is on my old faithful 2005 Chevy Silverado ¾ ton truck which has been extremely well maintained over the years. The camper has a queen bed over the cab and the dining room is in the slide-out and turns into a double bed. Agate Beach Campground

Agate Beach is located just before Tow Hill about 30 minutes east of Masset along the north beach of Graham Island.  The road is pavement approximately half the distance and then well-maintained gravel.  This is arguably the premier campground on Haida Gwaii with many campsites right on the beach.  At low tide one can walk the beach and if lucky and one knows what they are looking for, agates can be found.  It takes a bit of time to learn to recognize them but once accomplished, many can be found by walking any of the northern and eastern beaches of Graham Island.  Towards the end of June and most of July Dungeness Crab can be caught with dipnets in knee deep water along the northern beaches!

Numerous hiking opportunities exist that are easily accessible by foot from Agate Beach Campground. These include Tow Hill, Rose Spit and the Fife Trail which takes one to the East Beach of Graham Island.
